Dear DN sailors,
I would like to invite you on behalf of the Czech, Austrian and Hungarian DN associations to take part in the first MITROPA TROPHY 2013. It will take place on 23.-24.2. 2013. Primary site is Lake Lipno in the Czech Republic or on best ice in the Central Europe or around.
Original trophy comes from Vim van Acker. Idea to organize common Central European regatta comes from Niklas's brother Andreas Mueller-Hartburg in year 2000. We do not know today what exactly Vim and Andreas intended to do. I dare to say that one thing is sure: They wanted to have fun on the ice with people from the region after Iron Curtain fall. Now it becomes real.
